Nancy is proud to be a Wolfpacker, completing her DVM studies at North Carolina State University in 2011. She completed a Master’s Degree and residency training in Clinical Pathology at the University of Georgia in 2014. During her residency, she received the C.L. Davis Veterinary Pathology Scholarship Award, the ASVCP Share the Future Research Grant, and the Morrow B. Thompson Award for Excellence in Clinical Pathology. In September 2014, she passed the board certification exam and began working as a clinical pathologist for Antech Diagnostics in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2017, Nancy moved back to North Carolina where she currently resides. She is a member of both the ASVCP and ACVP, and has published several articles on various topics in clinical pathology. Nancy most enjoys diagnostic cytology and hematology. Nancy is also an Adjunct Professor for NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine and remains an active participant in the residency program. She currently resides with her husband, two children, three Brittany dogs, and two cats. Away from work, she enjoys gardening, running with her dogs, and traveling.
